An orthotropic damage model for masonry walls with consistent damage evolution laws

چکیده
Abstract This research presents a constitutive model for the macro scale simulation of masonry structures. The is containing an orthotropic plane stress assumption, which appears as appropriate assumption in-plane analysis walls. material based upon damage mechanics, split into tensile and compression parts. novelty herewith consistent mapping evolution laws. Aim this to develop simple but accurate law, suitable simulate large structures buildings with reasonable computational costs. developments are presented compared available literature examples from laboratory testings.
